Web Developer (Tutor) at Leinad Studios

Responsibilities

• Bring the learning experience to life by building community and enhancing relevance by drawing on your own industry experience
• Supporting our students by providing feedback, mentoring and career support
• Provide all students with high-quality teaching
• Maintain knowledge of all new trends and recommend improvements to assist students in the learning/teaching process
• Perform regular assessments of students, and evaluate their performance
• Provide support and encouragement to students as they go through a life-changing experience
• Design and update all instructional materials for IT programs or courses and recommend updates to instructional materials
• Increase participant engagement using different facilitation tactics
• Give projects to students to test what has been learned

Requirements:

• BSc/HND in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mathematics or relevant fields
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Good organization and multi-tasking abilities
• Post NYSC experience in teaching will be an added advantage.
• You have proven experience in full stack development
• You are familiar with (most) of the focus area technologies in our curriculum, mainly: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript, React/NextJs, SCSS/SASS, NodeJS/ExpressJS/NestJS, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, REST, Github Actions, AWS. Having knowledge of other relevant stack is a plus
• You are excited about helping people to learn
• You are good at explaining technical concepts to students
• You speak fluent English
• Previous experience of leading a team or teaching is a plus
