• The Web Designer is to create the visual layout and user interface of websites, focusing on aesthetics and usability. To translate client needs into engaging and functional online experiences, often working with designers, developers, and content creators. Responsibilities will include visual design, user experience, and potentially some basic coding (HTML, CSS, Javascript). 

Key Responsibilities:

Visual Design:

• Creating the overall look and feel of a website, including color schemes, typography, imagery, and layout. 

User Interface (UI) Design:

• Designing the interactive elements of a website, ensuring a smooth and intuitive user experience. 

Website Layout:

• Planning the structure and organization of website pages, ensuring clear navigation and information hierarchy. 

User Experience (UX) Design:

• Considering how users will interact with the website and optimizing the design to enhance their experience. 

Collaboration:

• Working with clients, project managers, developers, and other team members to bring website designs to life. 

Testing & Optimization:

• Conducting usability testing and making adjustments to improve website performance and user satisfaction. 

Front-end Development:

• Some web designers may also be involved in the coding aspect of website creation, using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. 

Staying Current:

• Keeping up with the latest design trends and technologies. 

Project Management:

• Managing time and resources effectively to meet project deadlines. 

Skills and Qualifications:

• Proficiency in design software: Such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, or Figma. 
• Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript: Basic understanding of web development languages. 
• Strong visual design skills: Including color theory, typography, and layout principles. 
• Understanding of user experience (UX) principles: Ability to create intuitive and user-friendly interfaces. 
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills: Ability to work effectively with clients and other team members.

Education and Experience:
