    Wealth Manager

    Responsibilities

    • Promote and sell Sycamore’s asset management products (e.g., bonds, commercial papers, treasury bills, and other fixed-income offerings) to new and existing clients.
    • Identify and acquire high-net-worth individuals, corporate clients, and institutional investors through strategic prospecting, referrals, and networking.
    • Conduct detailed financial and investment needs assessments to recommend appropriate products aligned with clients’ objectives and risk tolerance.
    • Manage and grow a portfolio of clients while achieving specified sales, revenue, and asset under management (AUM) targets.
    • Educate clients about Sycamore’s investment products, market opportunities, and the benefits of fixed-income investments.
    • Monitor client portfolios and proactively advise on rebalancing or reinvestment opportunities as market conditions evolve.
    • Maintain regular contact with clients to build trust, deepen relationships, and ensure high levels of client satisfaction.
    • Collaborate with internal teams — investment, research, operations, and compliance — to ensure seamless delivery of services and adherence to regulatory standards.
    • Keep abreast of financial market trends, economic developments, and competitor offerings to remain competitive and provide informed advice to clients.
    • Maintain accurate records of client interactions, sales activities, and pipeline opportunities using the company’s CRM tools.

    Key Requirements

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master’s degree or professional certification is an added advantage.
    • Minimum of 5 years experience in wealth management, investment sales, or financial advisory, with a proven track record of selling fixed-income or similar investment products.
    • Strong understanding of the Nigerian capital market, fixed-income securities, and investment strategies.
    • Excellent sales, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
    • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex investment products clearly.
    • High level of professionalism, integrity, and client-focused attitude.
    • Ability to work independently in a target-driven environment.
    • Deep knowledge of bonds, commercial papers, and other fixed-income instruments.
    • Ability to build and maintain a robust client network.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Resilience and a proactive, results-oriented mindset.
