Role Description

• This is a full-time, on-site Wealth Manager role based in Lagos.
• The Wealth Manager will work directly with individual and business clients to assess their financial goals, analyze their current financial position, and design comprehensive wealth management strategies.
• Day-to-day responsibilities include creating and monitoring financial plans, recommending investment products and portfolios, coordinating insurance solutions, and ensuring compliance with regulatory and internal policies.
• The role also involves regular client meetings, portfolio reviews, performance reporting, and proactive communication to adjust strategies as market conditions and client objectives change.
• The Wealth Manager will collaborate with internal teams across Alert Group to provide integrated financial solutions and support business development initiatives.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong skills in Financial Planning and Finance to design and implement holistic wealth strategies.
• Candidates should possess solid Investment Management and Investments skills to construct, monitor, and optimize client portfolios.
• Candidates should possess relevant Insurance knowledge to integrate risk management solutions into client financial plans.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., CFA, CFP) are an advantage.
• Proven experience in wealth management, private banking, or investment advisory, preferably within a financial services institution.
• Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail and sound judgment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and maintain long-term client relationships.
• Familiarity with Nigerian financial markets, regulatory environment, and relevant SEC and CBN guidelines is beneficial.
