    Warranty Officer

    POSITION SUMMARY

    The Warranty Officer is responsible for administering processing, and monitoring warranty claims for products, vehicles, or equipment. The role ensures that all warranty claims are accurately documented, submitted, and resolved in accordance with company policies and manufacturer guidelines.

    TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Review, verify, and process warranty claims submitted by customers, technicians, or service advisors. Ensure warranty claims comply with manufacturer and company warranty policies.
    • Prepare and submit warranty claims within required timelines.
    • Liaise with manufacturers, suppliers, and internal departments regarding claim approvals and settlements.
    • Monitor outstanding warranty claims and follow up on unresolved issues.
    • Maintain accurate records of warranty claims, repairs, and supporting documentation.
    • Conduct warranty audits to ensure compliance and identify discrepancies.
    • Analyze warranty claim trends and prepare periodic reports.
    • Coordinate the return of defective parts to manufacturers or suppliers when required.
    • Support service and parts departments on warranty-related matters.
    • Ensure warranty reimbursement is received and properly recorded.
    • Address customer inquiries regarding warranty coverage and claim status.
    • Assist in developing and implementing warranty procedures and controls.

    QUALIFICATIONS

    • Bachelor's Degree or HND in Business Administration, Engineering Supply Chain Management, Customer Service, or a related field.
    • Minimum of 2-3 years' experience in warranty administration, customer service, after-sales support, or a similar role.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Experience within automotive, manufacturing, electronics, construction equipment, or related industries is an added advantage.
    • Experience with ERP systems or warranty management software is an added advantage
