Warehouse Supervisor, Ondo at Sun King (Formerly Greenlight Planet)

About the role:

The ideal candidate will ensure fulfilment of Sun King's goals by maintaining strong control over end-to-end warehouse activities, driving operational efficiencies, and enhancing warehouse processes to meet the goals set by the company’s Executive Management. The ideal candidate will ensure optimal warehouse operations with stringent controls to prevent stock losses or waste. Additionally, they will play a key role in developing policies and procedures to ensure smooth warehouse operations without compromising control measures..

What you would be expected to do

• Overseeing receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations.
• Ensure operational policies and procedures is well adhered to.
• Ensuring effective and safety of warehouse equipment.
• Ensuring the safety of warehouse employees.
• Maintaining documentation and keeping accurate records of warehouse activities.
• Safeguards warehouse operations and contents by establishing and monitoring security procedures, protocols and by managing people, processes and systems.
• Coordinates the investigation of unsafe conditions through the application of the company’s safety standards.
• Complies with the federal, state and local warehousing processes, material handling requirements, etc.
• Ensure the daily reports of the warehouse are completed in stipulated time.
• Work closely with the logistic coordinator to resolve issues between warehousing and distribution processes.
• Ensure that all the supplies are received, documented, processed and proper acknowledgment given as at when due.
• Plan, assign and address complaints and resolve problems within the shortest time frame possible.
• Comply effectively with company work and safety rules.

You might be a strong candidate if you

• HND/BSC in supply chain management or  related background.
• 3+ years of warehouse management experience in the Solar space, FMCG or related industry.
• Excellent knowledge of warehouse management procedures.
• Proficient knowledge of and inventory controls, staffs and products.
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office suites.
• Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Good Managerial, organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in the use of ERP systems is an added advantage.
