Job Overview

The Warehouse Manager is responsible for overseeing all warehouse operations, which includes inventory management, staff supervision, safety protocols, and ensuring timely and efficient shipping and receiving processes.

Key Responsibilities:

 Inventory Management:

•  Maintain accurate inventory levels and track stock.
•  Implement and manage inventory control systems.
•  Ensure proper storage and organization of goods.
•  Minimize stockouts and overstocking.

Staff Management:

•  Supervise and train warehouse staff.
•  Delegate tasks to ensure an efficient workflow.
•  Motivate and coach employees.
•  Address performance issues and implement corrective actions.

Shipping and Receiving:

•  Oversee the receipt, storage, and shipment of goods.
•  Ensure accurate order fulfillment and timely deliveries.
•  Coordinate with suppliers and customers.

Safety and Security:

•  Implement and enforce safety protocols and procedures.
•  Ensure a safe and secure working environment.
•  Conduct regular safety inspections and address any issues.

Operations and Efficiency:

•  Optimize warehouse layout and processes to improve efficiency.
•  Identify and implement process improvements.
•  Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and track overall performance.
•  Maintain accurate records and documentation.

Communication and Collaboration:

•  Communicate effectively with team members, management, and other stakeholders.
•  Resolve conflicts and address issues promptly.
•  Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations.

Required Skills:

• Leadership and Management: Strong leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills are essential.
• Inventory Management: Experience with inventory management systems and techniques.

Qualifications:

• HND/BSc/MSc in Warehouse Management, Supply Chain, or a related discipline.
• Age should not exceed 42 years.
• professional certifications in Warehouse, safety, supply chain, or inventory control are a plus.
• Male candidates are preferred for gender balance.
• Candidates should have at least 4 years of experience as a warehouse manager in a reputable, large FMCG company.
