Warehouse Executive at DAG Industries Nigeria Limited

Job Summary

• The Warehouse Executive is responsible for managing day-to-day warehouse operations, including inventory control, receiving and dispatching goods, maintaining records, and ensuring safety and efficiency in the warehouse.
• This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work under pressure to meet operational targets.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and record incoming shipments accurately.
• Organize and store goods efficiently to maximize space utilization.
• Pick, pack, and dispatch orders on time with accuracy.
• Monitor stock levels and assist in inventory audits and cycle counts.
• Maintain inventory records using warehouse management systems (WMS).
• Coordinate with procurement, logistics, and sales teams on order and stock status.
• Ensure all warehouse activities comply with company policies and safety standards.
• Supervise warehouse staff and assign tasks when necessary.
• Maintain cleanliness and order in the warehouse.
• Handle returns, damaged items, and stock discrepancies effectively.
• Operate warehouse equipment like forklifts or pallet jacks (if certified).

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field (preferred).
• 2+ years of experience in warehouse or inventory operations.
• Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) or ERP software.
• Basic knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to lift and move heavy items as needed.
• Forklift license/certification (if required).

Work Conditions:

• Physically active role involving standing, lifting, and moving goods.
• May require working in shifts, including weekends or holidays during peak periods.

Working Hours:

• Monday till Saturday (8am-6pm)
