Work Hour: 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM EST, Monday–Friday

Job Summary: 

The ideal candidate must be a detail-oriented, proactive virtual medical scribe who is passionate about patient care, clinical excellence, and supporting a growing, education-focused team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare patient charts before each appointment so every visit starts informed and organized
• Join live (in-person or telemedicine) visits to transcribe accurate, thorough medical notes in real time
• Track completion of provider notes, ensuring timely and compliant documentation
• Update test results and patient records promptly and accurately
• Partner with our virtual assistant and clinical staff to streamline communication and keep the workflow smooth
• Pitch in with administrative tasks that keep the practice running efficiently

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Prior experience as a medical scribe or medical training (preferred)
• Ability to communicate clearly, write accurately, and love keeping details organized
• Tech-savvy and familiar with electronic health records (EHR) systems
• Ability to take initiative, learn quickly, and enjoy working independently
• Commitment to patient privacy and have a secure, reliable remote workspace
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, patient-centered environment and enjoy supporting a team
• Understanding of medical terminology and clinical workflows
• Proactively able to keep track of outstanding tasks and follow-ups
