Role Description

• This is a full-time, on-site Video Editor role based in Lagos.
• The Video Editor will plan, edit, and assemble video content that showcases Kingford Homes’ properties, brand stories, and customer testimonials for digital and offline channels.
• Daily tasks include organizing raw footage, selecting and trimming clips, adding transitions, music, and sound effects, and ensuring consistent branding across all content.
• The role involves color grading, basic motion graphics, and collaborating with marketing, sales, and creative teams to deliver compelling video assets on schedule.
• The Video Editor will also export and optimize videos for various platforms, maintain an organized media library, and suggest new visual ideas to improve audience engagement.

Qualifications

• Strong skills in Video Editing and Video Production, including working with raw footage, timelines, and various video formats.
• Proficiency in Video Color Grading to ensure consistent, high-quality visual tones across all projects.
• Ability to create and integrate Motion Graphics and Graphics to enhance storytelling and brand identity.
• Experience with industry-standard editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve; After Effects is a plus).
• Solid understanding of video formats, codecs, and export settings for web and social media platforms.
• Strong visual storytelling, attention to detail, and ability to work within brand guidelines.
• Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams on-site.
• Proven experience in a similar video editing role; a portfolio or showreel is required.
• Relevant diploma or degree in Film, Media, Communications, or a related field is an advantage.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and adapt to feedback in a fast-paced environment.
