Video Production Intern at Del-York Group

Job Summary:

• The Intern - Photography and Videography will assist the production team in capturing high-quality photos and videos that align with the academy’s brand and storytelling goals. This role provides an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a professional setting, develop technical skills, and contribute to various projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Photography:

• Assist in planning and executing photo shoots.
• Capture high-quality images for events, classes, marketing materials, and social media.
• Edit and retouch photos using software such as Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom.
• Organize and manage digital photo libraries.

Videography:

• Assist in planning and executing video shoots.
• Record high-quality video footage for events, classes, promotional content, and social media.
• Edit video content using software such as Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects.
• Assist in the production of live-streaming events and webinars.

Creative Input:

• Collaborate with the creative team to brainstorm and develop visual content ideas.
• Provide input on story-boarding and scripting for video projects.

Equipment Management:

• Assist in the setup, operation, and maintenance of photography and videography equipment.
• Ensure all equipment is properly stored and organized.

Administrative Tasks:

• Support the team with administrative tasks as needed, such as scheduling shoots and managing project timelines.
• Assist with content archiving and maintaining an organized media library.

Qualifications:

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Photography, Videography, Film, Media Studies, or a related field.
• Proficiency in using DSLR cameras, video cameras, and related equipment.
• Basic knowledge of photo and video editing software (Adobe Creative Suite preferred).
• Strong creative and visual skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends if needed.

Additional Requirements:

• Portfolio of previous photography and videography work (can be part of academic projects).
• Strong interest in visual storytelling and content creation.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn and take on new challenges.
