Video Editor & Graphic Designer at Workhour Media

Role Description

We are looking for a creative and reliable Video Editor & Graphic Designer to create and edit high-quality visual content for digital campaigns, social media and brand communication.

The role involves producing short-form videos, promotional content, social media graphics, carousels, thumbnails, advertising creatives and other brand assets. The successful candidate will collaborate with strategists and Content Creators to interpret briefs and develop engaging visual content across multiple client brands.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and edit Reels, short-form videos, advertisements and promotional content.
• Add captions, transitions, music, sound effects and motion graphics.
• Handle colour correction, basic colour grading and audio editing.
• Design social media graphics, carousels, thumbnails and advertising creatives.
• Retouch photographs and prepare visual assets for digital publication.
• Adapt content into vertical, square and landscape formats.
• Translate creative briefs and campaign ideas into engaging visual content.
• Maintain a consistent visual identity across different client brands.
• Organise media assets, editable files and completed projects.
• Manage multiple assignments and meet agreed deadlines.
• Revise designs and edits accurately based on feedback.
• Stay informed about relevant video, design and social media trends.

Qualifications

• Strong video-editing and graphic-design skills.
• A portfolio demonstrating relevant video and design projects.
• Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro, CapCut or equivalent tools.
• Good understanding of visual storytelling, typography, composition, colour, sound and layout.
• Experience creating motion graphics, titles and simple animations.
• Familiarity with social media formats and short-form video trends.
• Ability to interpret creative briefs and follow brand guidelines.
• Strong attention to detail, communication and time-management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and respond professionally to feedback.
• A reliable computer, internet connection and suitable working setup.
• Experience working with an agency or producing content for restaurant, hospitality, retail or lifestyle brands is an advantage.
• A degree is not compulsory. Portfolio quality, creative judgement and reliability are more important.
