Responsibilities

• Edit raw video footage into high-quality, engaging, and professional videos.
• Edit (Cut, arrange, and combine) video clips to create compelling stories and content.
• Add transitions, effects, animations, captions, music, and sound effects.
• Perform colour correction, audio enhancement, and basic visual effects.
• Produce videos for social media platforms, websites, advertisements, campaigns, and corporate communications.
• Create promotional videos showcasing the company’s products, services, events, and activities.
• Work closely with the Videographer, Marketing, Social Media, Brand, and Creative teamsto understand content requirements.
• Edit short-form content such as Reels, TikTok videos, YouTube Shorts, and promotional clips.
• Collaborate with the content team to develop creative concepts and storytelling approaches.
• Organize and maintain raw footage, edited videos, graphics, audio files, and other digital assets.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or HND, in Mass Communication, Film Production, Media Studies, Fine Arts, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years cognate experience .
• Proficiency in AI tools and video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro, or CapCut.
• Strong storytelling and creative skills.
• Knowledge of sound editing, colour grading, motion graphics, and visual effects.
• Attention to detail.
• Good time-management and organizational skills.
