Video Editor at Abux Consult

Job Duties Include

• Creating engaging videos that catch (and hold) viewers’ attention, whether it’s on YouTube, our website, social media or television broadcasts
• Directing talent and eliciting strong performances in a professional environment
• Shooting in a variety of locations, requiring an understanding of composition, lighting and audio
• Executing post-video production tasks including reviewing footage, making audio adjustments and color grading, and finalizing edits
• Providing necessary motion graphic design to improve the quality of the videos
• Working closely with our Creative/Content Team, which provides scripts, shot lists, images, products and deadlines
• Following the latest video production trends so that our content stays current and fresh

Expected Candidate Qualities:

• Able to shoot, capture, log and organize professional quality footage
• High-level knowledge of various video cameras and video equipment
• Must have fundamental understanding of green/blue screen keying and compositing
• Takes the initiative to see projects through to completion
• Visually creative and detail-oriented
• Implement SFX and VFX/animation to enhance video content.
• Experince in Final Cut pro, BlackMagic or other similar editors
• Strong storytelling skills
• Ability to balance multiple projects at once
• Time management skills and able to work to a deadline
• Shows a willingness to be a team player
• Openness to constructive criticism
• Displays flexibility to pitch in to accomplish goals as a team
• Maintains a positive attitude in stressful situations
• Expresses eagerness to learn and improve
• Proficiency with the Adobe Creative Suite, primarily with Premiere Pro and After Effects
