    Van Sales Representative (Iddo (Oyingbo)

    Job Summary

    We are seeking a suitably qualified candidate to join our client’s team as aVan Sales Representative. The successful candidate will be responsible for selling products directly to customers from the company-owned van, driving sales growth, ensuring timely deliveries, and building strong customer relationships.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Sales and Delivery: Drive to assigned territories, deliver products, and generate sales through direct interactions and order-taking.
    • Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers by understanding and addressing their needs.
    • Product Promotion: Present and demonstrate products, highlighting key features, benefits, and pricing.
    • Order Management: Take orders, process transactions, and issue receipts or invoices accurately.
    • Inventory Management: Load and unload products, ensure proper handling of goods, and maintain accurate stock counts.
    • Route Planning: Plan efficient delivery routes to ensure timely product distribution.
    • Reporting and Feedback: Submit daily/weekly sales reports, provide customer insights, and monitor competitor activities.

    Requirements

    • Education: Minimum of a high school diploma; a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or a related field is an added advantage.
    • Experience: Proven track record in sales, preferably in direct sales or van sales within the FMCG industry.
    • Skills:
      • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
      • Sales-driven and customer-focused attitude
      • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
      • Basic mathematical skills for pricing and discounts
      • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
    • Product Knowledge: Familiarity with FMCG products will be an advantage.

    Additional Responsibilities

    • Van Maintenance: Ensure the sales van is clean, well-maintained, and roadworthy.
    • Cash and Stock Control: Manage cash transactions, maintain proper records, and minimize stock losses.
    • Compliance: Adhere to company policies, safety protocols, and driving regulations.
