Valve Technician at FELPET Nigeria Limited

• Valve Technician, minimum 5 years experience in repairs, servicing & maintenance of manual, control valves and PSVs.

Job description:

• On-site/workshop servicing, repairs & maintenance of valves.
• On-site/workshop testing, calibration & re-certification of valves.
• Complete valve overhaul, and refurbishment both on-site and in the workshop.
• Assemble, test, and troubleshoot valves in line with applicable codes, procedures, and standards
• as per manufacturer and/or customer requirements.
• Perform disassembly, cleaning, inspection, measuring, reassembly, and testing of valves.
• Valve dismantling, and reinstallation on the process line.
• Participate in the HSE meetings, discussions, and risk assessments.
• Provision of daily, weekly, and Monthly work reports.

Other requirements:

• Ability to use measuring and test equipment.
• Must be capable of working independently and collaboratively in a multi-discipline team.
• Minimum five years experience in valve services – repairs, overhaul, maintenance, and
• refurbishment.
• Good verbal communication skills.
• Excellent knowledge and ability to work across various OEM types, and models of valves.
• Must have adequate knowledge of valve working principles
