Utility Technician at Grand Oak Limited

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise daily operations of all utility systems including boilers, compressors, chillers, generators, water treatment plants, and HVAC systems.
• Ensure continuous and efficient supply of utilities to support production activities.
• Monitor equipment performance and implement preventive and corrective maintenance schedules.
• Lead and coordinate a team of technicians and operators.
• Troubleshoot utility-related issues and implement timely solutions to minimize downtime.
• Maintain accurate records of utility consumption, maintenance activities, and system performance.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, environmental standards, and company policies.
• Support energy efficiency initiatives and cost reduction strategies.
• Liaise with external vendors and contractors for specialized maintenance or repairs.
• Participate in audits and inspections as required.

Requirements

• Educational Qualification:HND in Mechanical Engineering or any related Engineering discipline.
• Experience:Minimum of 3 years’ experience in utility operations within an FMCG or manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of industrial utility systems (steam, compressed air, water systems, refrigeration, power generation).
• Familiarity with maintenance planning and execution.
• Good leadership and team management skills.
• Basic knowledge of health, safety, and environmental practices.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and maintenance management systems is an advantage
