Utility Maintenance Technician at Ascentech Services Limited

Responsibilities

• Ensures the proper maintenance of equipment and tools by cleaning and checking equipment and tools after use.
• Performs routine inspection and preventive maintenance on assigned equipment and refers defects or needed repairs to supervisor; cleans equipment.
• Performs all duties in conformance to appropriate safety and security standards.
• Adequate electrical / mechanical maintenance of machines involving preventive and breakdown maintenance and overhauling of factory machines.
• Replacement and adjustment of a variety of mechanical equipment and parts of mechanical machinery.
• Reduction of machine downtime and production wastage through machine maintenance.
• Ensuring all machines are properly maintained to produce high quality products that meet our customers’ expectations and adhere to proper food product safety criteria.
• Operate equipment to ensure adequate production of utilities within Quality Assurance limits.

Requirements

• B.Eng or HND Electrical Engineering / Mechanical Engineering.
• Age limit: 35 years
• 3-8 years experience in a food manufacturing industry, working in a similar role.
• Living around Mowe or close environs
• Have experience in industrial machinery maintenance (factories, utilities, generators).
• Able to work effectively with little or no supervision.
