Unit Head, Internal Control at ACCION Microfinance Bank

Duties of the Position

• Develop strategy to build control culture across the bank and ensure effectiveness of controls.
• Receive, review and summarize monthly reports from all internal control staff Document and test business process that support key financial and operational functions.
• Coordinate all activities of Branch and Head Office Control and report+ to the Head, Risk, Control & Compliance.
• Participate in development and policies and procedures.

Qualifications & Skills

• Minimum of B.Sc. / HND in Accounting with at least PE 1 pass in ICAN certificate.
• Minimum of 10 years working experience with at least 5 years in a financial services environment.
• Banking, Insurance, and financial services knowledge.
• Extensive Working Knowledge of Microsoft word, Excel and power point, Intranet Mailing facility and the core banking application of the bank.
