UI/UX Designer at VDL Technologies

Role Description

• This is a contract hybrid role for a UI/UX Designer located in Lagos State, Nigeria, with some work-from-home acceptable.
• As a UI/UX Designer, your daily tasks will include collaborating with product managers and developers to define and implement innovative solutions, designing wireframes, user flows, and prototypes, conducting user research and testing, and optimizing existing interfaces for usability and accessibility.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in UI design software such as Sketch, Figma, and Adobe XD
• Experience with UX research methods, prototyping, and usability testing
• Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for creating interactive prototypes
• Strong visual design skills with an understanding of design systems and principles
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work independently and in a hybrid work environment
• Prior experience in a similar role, especially in the technology industry, is a plus
• Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or related field
