To advise clients on the various tools of Estate Planning under Common Law, conventional Estate planning, Islamic Inheritance Law and assist them in structuring their Estates in line with their objectives.
Manage/Administer Estates in line with the directives of the asset owner.
Facilitate the smooth process of Probate Administration and Estate Administration, ensure efficiency in Trust and Will Administration Services.
Responsibilities
Advise and structure Estate Planning structure for Clients.
Drafting of Trust Deed, Wills and other Estate Planning documents.
Research on Innovative Ways to create tax efficient Estate Plans.
Service/Product Innovation and Development.
Advise and structure Corporate Trust transactions
Providing Technical advice to clients and Business Development team on creation of seamless Estate Planning options.
Presentations on companies’ product and service offerings at different fora.
Working with Business Development Team to win Trust mandates.
Anchor education of the Public on Trust solutions through clusters
Appointment and supervision of external Solicitors’ handling transaction documentation.
Hold meetings with prospective clients as and when necessary, with a view to winning mandates.
Draft and review legal documents for business units within the group

LL.B
LLM will be an added advantage
Legal Practitioner with at least 2 years post-call experience in Trust services
