Job Summary

As our Truck Drive, you will be responsible for ensuring the timely and safe delivery of temperature-sensitive goods while maintaining product quality by adhering to refrigeration protocols. The role requires operating refrigerated trucks (reefers), loading and unloading goods, monitoring temperature controls, and complying with all safety and transportation regulations.

Responsibilities

• Operate refrigerated trucks to deliver frozen food products while maintaining the required temperature throughout the trip.
• Ensure the correct loading and unloading of frozen goods, verifying the quantity and condition of products during each delivery.
• Perform routine inspections of the refrigerated truck, including the refrigeration unit, brakes, tires, lights, and fluids.
• Handle on-road emergencies such as mechanical breakdowns or refrigeration system failures while communicating with dispatch for timely assistance.

Requirements

• Valid commercial driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Proven experience in driving frozen vehicles
• Basic mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting refrigeration and vehicle issue

Salary 

150,000 - 180,000naira
