Treasury Coordinator at EBANX

• We are looking for a Treasury Coordinator to oversee and optimize and guarantee execution of treasury operations in Nigeria and other African markets. This role will focus on foreign exchange (FX) management, liquidity optimization, and banking relationships, ensuring efficient financial operations aligned with global treasury strategies. This role is an exciting opportunity to drive treasury innovation in Nigeria and other African markets, working closely with global teams to optimize FX and liquidity strategies.

You will also be responsible for:

• Develop and implement efficient processes for currency exchange from NGN, EGP, KES and ZAR to USD.
• Design and enhance FX remittance workflows for improved efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
• Align with global FX strategy, ensuring execution in compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
• Oversee the execution of treasury operations in Nigeria and other African markets, ensuring liquidity and cash flow optimization.
• Support global treasury initiatives, identifying opportunities to enhance operational efficiency.
• Establish and manage relationships with banks, payment providers, and currency exchangers to ensure seamless financial transactions.
• Negotiate competitive FX rates and enhance banking infrastructure to support business needs.

Main requirements for this position:

• Experience in treasury, FX management, or banking operations in the African payments or financial ecosystem.
• Strong knowledge of cross-border payments, currency exchange, and local financial regulations.
• Ability to navigate complex financial landscapes and implement scalable treasury solutions.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills to collaborate with internal and external partners.
