We are seeking a proactive and experienced Transport Supervisor to oversee daily transport operations, manage fleet activities, and coordinate third-party transporters. The ideal candidate will ensure timely deliveries, regulatory compliance, and efficient transport performance across all operational sites.
Key Responsibilities
Plan and coordinate inbound and outbound transport operations
Manage internal fleet and external transporters
Ensure truck availability for ports, warehouses, and customer deliveries
Monitor delivery schedules and resolve operational issues
Negotiate transporter rates and monitor performance
Ensure compliance with QHSE standards and transport regulations
Maintain accurate transport records and reports
Conduct site visits to ports and warehouses when required
Requirements
Experience in transport/logistics supervision (chemical industry preferred)
Strong knowledge of Lagos transport operations and port processes
