Transport Supervisor at Terawork

Job Summary

• We are seeking a proactive and experienced Transport Supervisor to oversee daily transport operations, manage fleet activities, and coordinate third-party transporters. The ideal candidate will ensure timely deliveries, regulatory compliance, and efficient transport performance across all operational sites.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate inbound and outbound transport operations
• Manage internal fleet and external transporters
• Ensure truck availability for ports, warehouses, and customer deliveries
• Monitor delivery schedules and resolve operational issues
• Negotiate transporter rates and monitor performance
• Ensure compliance with QHSE standards and transport regulations
• Maintain accurate transport records and reports
• Conduct site visits to ports and warehouses when required

Requirements

• Experience in transport/logistics supervision (chemical industry preferred)
• Strong knowledge of Lagos transport operations and port processes
• Good negotiation and communication skills
• Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel)
• Strong organisational and problem-solving skills
• Safety-conscious and detail-oriented
