Role Overview

• We are seeking an experienced and reliable Transport Coordinator to oversee haulage and delivery operations. This role is ideal for someone who can plan routes, coordinate drivers, track shipments, and ensure timely and safe movement of goods. You will be a key point of coordination, ensuring transportation activities run efficiently and reliably.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, schedule, and assign daily delivery routes for drivers and transport vendors.
• Coordinate the movement of goods from ports, warehouses, and client locations.
• Monitor vehicle usage, driver performance, and delivery timelines.
• Track shipments in transit and ensure adherence to delivery schedules.
• Communicate with drivers and resolve transportation-related issues in real time.
• Maintain transport logs, delivery records, and fleet documentation.
• Ensure proper allocation and utilization of transport resources.
• Address delays, breakdowns, or route challenges to minimize service disruption.
• Enforce safety standards and compliance in all transportation activities.

Requirements

• 2–3 years’ experience in transport coordination, dispatch, or fleet management.
• Strong knowledge of route planning, delivery scheduling, and transport logistics.
• Experience managing drivers and third-party transport vendors.
• Ability to monitor real-time transport activities and resolve issues promptly.
• Good understanding of transport safety standards and compliance.
• Strong organizational and coordination skills.
