Transport Assistant at Grand Cereals Limited

Purpose Statement:

• The role holder will be responsible for ensuring the effective management of movement of finished goods to our customers.

Key Accountabilities

• Supervise the loading of finished goods to meet our customers' needs
• Utilize logistics software to optimize procedures
• Coordinate logistics workers (e.g. truck drivers, forklift operators) according to availability and requirements
• Plan and track the shipment of final products according to customer requirements
• Keep logs and records of available stocks, dispatched orders, pending orders etc.
• Prepare accurate CSL reports for upper management.
• Coordinate third party transporters for prompt delivery of goods the haulage.
• Receive and treat invoices of transporters for onward submission to the Finance team

Educational Qualification & Experience

• Minimum of OND in supply chain management, business administration, or a relevant field.
• 2-3 years proven working experience as a transport officer will be an added advantage.
