Tractor Mechanic at Tropical General Investments (TGI) Group

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Perform thorough inspections Of tractors and other agricultural equipment to identify mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues.
• Repair and replace damaged or worn parts, components, and systems, including engines, transmissions, brakes, steering systems, and hydraulic systems.
• Maintain accurate records of repairs, services performed, and parts used.
• Conduct routine maintenance tasks, including Oil changes, filter replacements, and lubrication of machinery.
• Inspect and adjust belts, chains, and pulleys to ensure proper functioning.
• Clean and maintain equipment components to prevent dirt and debris buildup.
• Perform basic welding and fabrication tasks to repair or modify equipment components.
• Test repaired equipment to ensure proper functionality and performance before returning it to service.

QUALIFICATIONS :

• Minimum of ND or BSC in Mechanical Engineering.
• 3-4 years of working experience as a tractor mechanic or agricultural equipment technician.
• Familiarity with electrical systems, hydraulic: and welding techniques.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on experience with engine diagnostics, repair, and maintenance.
• Attention to detail and a methodical approach to troubleshooting and repairs.
