Conduct incoming inspections of tools and electrical equipment returned from outages or field operations to ensure completeness, integrity, and functional condition.
Perform routine electrical maintenance activities including minor repairs, connections, inspections, testing, and basic calibration or measurement checks.
Prepare electrical tool sets and equipment for dispatch by verifying tool lists, ensuring correct configuration, packing, labeling, and required documentation.
Store tools, electrical equipment, cables, and test devices according to approved Tool Center layout standards and storage procedures.
Support painting, labeling, shelving, housekeeping, and general facility upkeep activities within the Tool Center.
Carry out basic electrical troubleshooting on tools and equipment, including inspections of cables, connectors, panels, and auxiliary components, within assigned responsibility.
Operate a forklift safely for loading, unloading, and relocating tools, equipment, and materials; conduct daily forklift safety inspections
Apply lockout/tagout (LOTO) and electrical safety procedures where required during maintenance and inspection activities.
Comply fully with Occupational Health & Safety (OHS / İSG) rules, demonstrate strong electrical risk awareness, use required PPE, and report unsafe conditions or incidents without delay.
What You Bring
Possession of a National Diploma (ND) or Higher National Diploma (HND) in Electrical/Electronic Engineering Technology or a related technical discipline.
A minimum of 3 to 5 years of practical experience as an electrical technician within an industrial workshop, manufacturing, or tool service setting.
Hold a Trade Test Certificate (Grade I, II, or III) in Electrical Installation & Maintenance or a related area from the Nigerian Federal Ministry of Labour and Employment.
Intermediate computer skills, including familiarity with word processing, spreadsheet applications, and email.
Capability to work independently with a moderate level of direct supervision.
