Test Automation Associate at NimbleByte Global

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement test plans, test cases, and test scripts in collaboration with software development and product management teams.
• Define testing strategies and approaches for both manual and automated testing.
• Execute manual and automated test cases to ensure the quality and functionality of software applications.
• Perform functional, regression, performance, and security testing as part of the software development life cycle.
• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using industry-standard test automation tools and frameworks.
• Identify opportunities for test automation to increase efficiency and coverage.
• Identify, document, and track defects, collaborating with development teams to ensure timely resolution.
• Conduct root cause analysis of defects and contribute to process improvements.
• Execute test plans, scripts, and test cases manually or with test automation tools.
• Participate in agile development processes, providing feedback and insights to enhance the quality of deliverables.
• Plan, execute, and analyze performance tests to ensure the scalability and reliability of software applications.
• Collaborate with infrastructure teams to identify and address performance bottlenecks.
• Create and maintain comprehensive test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and automation scripts.
• Provide clear and concise test reports to stakeholders.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Test Automation Analyst, with a minimum of 5-7 years in software testing.
• Strong understanding of software development life cycle, testing methodologies, and best practices.
• Proficiency in test automation tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, TestNG).
• Experience with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, Gatling) is a plus.
• Solid programming/scripting skills (e.g., Java, Python, C#) for test automation
