The Telesales Officer will be responsible for reaching out to potential clients, promoting the organization’s HMO or Insurance products, and driving sales through telephone interactions.
The role requires excellent communication skills, sales acumen, and a proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets.
Key Responsibilities
Contact potential clients to introduce and explain HMO or Insurance products and services.
Build and maintain a pipeline of prospective clients.
Meet and exceed individual and team sales targets within designated timelines.
Follow up on leads promptly to maximize conversion rates.
Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of HMO and Insurance products and services.
Tailor product presentations to address the specific needs of potential clients.
Build rapport with clients to foster long-term relationships.
Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly sales activity reports.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Competencies
Bachelor’s Degree in any Social Science discipline or a related field.
2 to 3 years of cognate experience in telesales, preferably within the HMO or Insurance industry.
Exceptional verbal communication and active listening skills to engage clients effectively.
Strong ability to persuade and negotiate with clients to close sales.
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding telesales targets.
Proficiency in managing leads and tracking sales activities systematically.
Familiarity with the HMO or Insurance sector is highly desirable.
