Telesales Agent at a Leading Consulting Firm

Our client is one of the leading consulting firms who specialises in; high-end executive development programmes (online, virtual, hybrid and face to face), recruitment, consulting and research. They are actively seeking a Telesales agent who will positively project their services.

Responsibilities

• Contact potential clients in Nigeria and other countries via telephone, email and social
• media to increase sales opportunities.
• Enter and update clients’ details into the database
• Present the service appropriately to clients to make a sale or generate a lead
• Maintain and develop relationships with existing/new clients via telephone calls
• Call clients to schedule appointments
• Record sales, correspondence, leads in an internal database
• Conduct research
• Support customers in resolving issues in a timely manner
• Manage the end-to-end sales process
• Potentially visit clients to pitch to them

Person requirements

• Minimum of 5 years work experience in customer service/ call centre or telesales
• Minimum of a first degree, a Master’s degree is a plus.
• A sales-focused positive attitude with a willingness to support clients effectively
• Fluent in spoken English, with a clear and concise accent and possess excellent writing skills
• Creative thinking skills.
• Patient and proficient in engaging customers in conversations.
• Emotionally resilient and able to handle rejection and stress while soliciting customers.
• Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
• Flexibility, agility and ability to multi-task
• Working knowledge of relevant computer software.
• Excellent active listening skills
• Ability to work individually or in a team with or without supervision
• Good project management credentials
