Job Description

An online digital platform is looking for sales professionals who will be responsible for cold calling to follow up with existing Users of the website and gather information about their location and demographic to improve the Company’s lead generation strategies. This role also requires the conversant use of the company’s website, answering questions about the services rendered, explaining its features, and improving the process of increasing traffic on the website.

As a Telemarketer, you will be responsible for;

• Delivering conversations that describe the company’s services and the various benefits attached
• Responsible for obtaining and updating User information such as names, email and business locational address, etc.
• Following up with previous Users for potential sales
• Maintaining and improving records of existing Users
• Carrying out any other duties assigned by management

The successful candidate must possess the following qualifications and skills:

• In-depth knowledge of the industry and current trends (Market Knowledge)
• 2-3 years experience in sales and telemarketing
• Excellent Communication Skills
• Product Knowledge
• Persistence
• Ability to spark interest quickly and make sales over the telephone
• Time Management & Professionalism
• Customer Service
• Proficiency with office management software like MS Office, Google, etc.
