Technology / Digital Manager at Distributed Renewable Energy Enhancement Facility (DREEF)

Job Summary

• To lead and coordinate all digital and technology initiatives that enables DREEF to  scale efficiently, meet donor/investor governance requirements, improve operational performance and enhance both customers (developers, financiers) and employee experience.

Job Details

Technology Strategy & Roadmap

• Develop and implement DREEF’s IT/Digital Transformation Roadmap aligned with business plan, AI Policy Framework, and funding milestones.
• Drive integration of AI-powered tools into project preparation, recruitment, training, expense management, and donor reporting.

 Systems Implementation & Man

• Oversee deployment and optimisation of:
• Centralised project management system.
• Recruitment automation platform.
• LMS for PMT and enumerator training.
• Expense management software with corporate debit card integration.
• Impact reporting dashboard and GIS mapping tools.
• Ensure interoperability between systems and data integrity.

Operational Efficiency & Process Automation

• Identify manual processes suitable for automation to reduce cycle time and costs.
• Lead digital re-engineering of recruitment processes for WB/DFI-funded roles.
• Embed compliance checks and quality assurance into all digital workflows.

Stakeholder Engagement

• Work with PMTs, HR, Finance, and Impact teams to align system outputs with operational needs.
• Liaise with donors, DFIs, and InfraCredit to ensure reporting systems meet external requirements.

Capacity Building

• Train DREEF staff and enumerators on digital tools, data management, and cyber security best practices.
• Build an internal culture of data-driven decision-making.

KPIs

• Reduction in recruitment and onboarding cycle times.
• Percentage of PMT workflows managed through digital platforms.
• Reduction in project preparation–to–financial close cycle.
• Audit compliance pass rate for donor reporting systems.
• Staff adoption rate for new tools (>85% within 6 months of launch).KPIs

Requirements

• Proven track record in digital transformation for scaling Organisation.
• Experience with project management platforms, LMS, and ERP/expense management systems.
•  Knowledge of AI applications in operational workflows.
•  Strong understanding of DFI/donor compliance standards.
•  Excellent stakeholder engagement skills.
