Job Summary

• We are seeking a skilled and technically competent Technician to support the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of renewable energy systems and equipment.

Responsibilities
The ideal candidate will be responsible for:

• Installing, maintaining, and servicing renewable energy systems, including solar power systems and related equipment.
• Conducting routine inspections and preventive maintenance on electrical and renewable energy equipment.
• Diagnosing and troubleshooting electrical, inverter, battery, and solar system faults.
• Carrying out repairs and replacements of faulty components and equipment.
• Performing system testing and commissioning to ensure proper functionality and performance.
• Reading and interpreting electrical diagrams, wiring layouts, and technical manuals.
• Ensuring all installations and repairs comply with technical, safety, and quality standards.
• Monitoring system performance and identifying potential technical issues before they lead to breakdowns.
• Maintaining accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, installations, and equipment performance.
• Providing technical support to customers and responding promptly to service and maintenance requests.

Requirements

• HND / B.Sc. Degree in Electrical / Electronic Engineering, Electrical Technology, Renewable Energy Technology, or a related field.
• 4–5 years of relevant experience as a technician, preferably in the Renewable Energy / Solar Energy Industry.
• Proven experience in solar installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs.
• Good knowledge of solar panels, inverters, batteries, charge controllers, and related electrical components.
• Strong understanding of electrical systems, wiring, and basic power systems.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to use basic electrical testing and diagnostic tools effectively.
• Good understanding of health, safety, and electrical safety procedures.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a technical team.
• Must be willing to work on-site and travel to client locations when required.
