Job Description

• We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive Technician to join our team.
• The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years of industrial experience, with a strong background in operating and troubleshooting various utilities such as Water Treatment Plant (WTP), Effluent Treatment Plant (ETP), Compressors, Boilers, and Generators. 
• A solid understanding of both electrical and mechanical systems is essential to this role. The Technician will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of these utilities, maintaining equipment, and responding to issues in a timely manner to minimize downtime.

Responsibilities

• Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot utilities like WTP, ETP, compressors, boilers, and generators.
• Perform routine inspections, preventative maintenance, and repairs on electrical and mechanical equipment.
• Identify and resolve faults in mechanical and electrical systems to ensure continuous operation.
• Ensure all equipment and machinery are operating within established parameters.
• Respond promptly to equipment malfunctions and downtime situations, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
• Document all maintenance activities, repairs, and improvements.
• Assist in the installation and commissioning of new equipment and systems.
• Collaborate with the team to improve overall operational efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.
• Work on both planned and emergency maintenance tasks.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor or management.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or Air-conditioning.
• 2-3 years of industrial experience in a similar role, with hands-on experience in operating and troubleshooting utilities like WTP, ETP, compressors, boilers, and generators.
• Knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems.
• Experience with maintenance procedures for utilities and industrial machinery.
• Ability to work with a variety of mechanical and electrical tools and equipment.
• Familiarity with safety and environmental regulations related to utilities and industrial operations.
