Technical Team Lead at RS Hunter Limited

• As the Tech Team Lead, you will play a crucial role in managing our databases and integrating APIs to enhance the efficiency, scalability, and functionality of our systems supporting both logistics and e-Mobility services.
• You will lead a team of talented engineers and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and optimization of technology solutions. 

Key Responsibilities: 

Database Management: 

• Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of databases to support our logistics and e-mobility operations. 
• Ensure data integrity, security, and performance of databases, implementing best practices and protocols. 

API Integration: 

• Lead the integration of APIs to connect databases with various systems and third-party platforms, enabling data exchange and interoperability. 
• Work closely with software engineers to develop custom APIs and ensure seamless integration with existing systems. 

Technical Leadership: 

• Provide technical guidance, mentorship, and support to a team of engineers, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning. 
• Lead by example, demonstrating best practices in software development, database management, and API integration. 

System Optimization: 

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for system optimization and automation, leveraging technology to improve operational efficiency and scalability. 
• Implement monitoring and performance tracking mechanisms to identify and address issues proactively. 

Project Management: 

• Manage and prioritize technical projects related to database management, API integration, and system optimization, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with business goals. 
• Coordinate with stakeholders to gather requirements, define project scope, and manage expectations throughout the project lifecycle. 

Documentation and Training: 

• Develop and maintain technical documentation, including database schemas, API specifications, and integration guidelines. 
• Provide training and knowledge transfer to team members and stakeholders to ensure a thorough understanding of systems and processes. 

Qualifications: 

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field. 
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in software development, database management, and API integration, with demonstrated leadership experience. 
• Proficiency in database management systems (e.g., MySQL, MongoDB) and API technologies (e.g., REST, Graph QL). 
• Strong technical skills in programming languages such as Python, Java, or JavaScript (eg. Node js, React js). 
• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) is preferred. 
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders. 
• Proven track record of successfully leading technical teams and delivering complex projects on time and within budget. 
• Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving technical challenges
