Technical SEO Specialist at Lucky Fibres Limited

Position Overview

• We are seeking a Remote Technical SEO Specialist with strong expertise in optimizing WordPress and Shopify websites for speed, visibility, and overall performance.
• The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, analytical, and skilled in solving complex SEO challenges.
• You will collaborate with our digital team to ensure websites are technically sound, mobile-optimized, and fully aligned with SEO best practices.

Key Responsibilities
Technical SEO Audits & Optimization:

• Conduct in-depth technical SEO audits on WordPress and Shopify websites.
• Identify and fix crawl errors, indexation issues, duplicate content, redirects, and broken links.
• Manage and optimize XML sitemaps, robots.txt, canonical tags, and meta directives.

Platform-Specific Optimization:

• Optimize WordPress websites using best practices, including SEO plugins (Yoast, RankMath, etc.).
• Configure Shopify SEO settings, including URL structures, liquid templates, app integrations, and metadata.

Performance & Core Web Vitals:

• Improve site speed, mobile responsiveness, and Core Web Vitals.
• Use tools such as Google PageSpeed Insights, Lighthouse, and GTmetrix for performance improvements.

Implementation & Collaboration:

• Implement SEO-friendly code and site architecture.
• Manage structured data/schema markup for better SERP visibility.
• Work with content and product teams to align technical SEO with content strategy.

Monitoring & Reporting:

• Track SEO KPIs using tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Ahrefs, SEMrush, and Screaming Frog.
• Prepare weekly reports on technical fixes, traffic growth, and keyword performance.
• Monitor algorithm updates and recommend proactive strategies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (preferred).
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in Technical SEO (experience with WordPress and Shopify required).
• Strong understanding of search engine algorithms, crawl budgets, and ranking factors.
• Proficiency in SEO tools (Ahrefs, SEMrush, Moz, Screaming Frog, Sitebulb, etc.).
• Familiarity with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and CMS customization.
• Knowledge of server-side SEO (redirects, CDN, caching, log file analysis).
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills in a remote environment.

Preferred Skills (an advantage but not required):

• Experience with international SEO (hreflang, multilingual, multi-store setups).
• Understanding of WCAG accessibility standards.
• Ability to manage multiple websites and prioritize independently.
