    Technical Sales Executive

    About the Job

    • Only 11% of Africa’s population have their credit information recorded by private credit bureaus vs 17% in Emerging Asia and 79% in Latin America. This, along with other challenges, puts a major brake on consumer lending in Africa.

    About the Role

    • As a Technical Sales Executive, you'll drive high awareness of our solutions within a technical customer base.
    • You'll work closely with the developer community to understand how Indicina can best serve their needs.
    • You'll support sales productivity and deal flow by securing the "technical close" in a complex, cross-functional environment.
    • You collaborate with Sales, Customer Success, Product, and Engineering resources to ensure proposed deals include technical solutions that accurately meet customer challenges.

    Job  Duties and Responsibilities

    • Aggressively drive new customer acquisition by originating a strong pipeline of potential customers
    • Develop strong relationships with technical community to promote our growing portfolio of API-based products
    • Facilitate technical product demonstrations to potential customers
    • Design technical solutions to customer requirements with a view to increase our value proposition
    • Coordinate with internal teams to align solution design with customers’ business requirements and existing infrastructure.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelors degree in Computer science, Engineering  or in similar field
    • 3 - 5 years of proven technical sales experience preferably in FinTech or a related field
    • Excellent Communication and Interpersonal skills
    • Excellent negotiation skills 
    • Technical and business acumen.
