    Technical Sales Executive

    Role Overview

    • The Technical Sales Executive will be responsible for driving adoption of Edves’ solutions among schools in Port Harcourt through strategic prospecting, consultative sales conversations, and relationship building. This role requires someone who is comfortable engaging decision-makers, demonstrating product value, and consistently meeting sales targets.
    • We are particularly looking for a professional who has worked within a structured or corporate environment such as an edutech company, technology firm, or other well-organized organization, and understands the discipline, accountability, and performance expectations that come with such environments.
    • This role is best suited for a structured, target-driven professional who understands B2B sales and is confident engaging institutional clients, particularly within the education sector.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Identify and prospect private schools within Port Harcourt and surrounding areas
    • Conduct product presentations and demonstrations to school administrators, proprietors, and decision-makers
    • Make consistent cold calls and follow-ups to potential client schools to generate and nurture leads
    • Clearly communicate how Edves’ technology solutions address operational and academic challenges faced by schools
    • Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting and lead qualification to negotiation and closing
    • Meet and exceed assigned monthly and quarterly sales targets
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with school stakeholders to support long-term partnerships and renewals
    • Maintain accurate sales records and pipeline updates in the company’s CRM system
    • Provide insights on market trends, competitor activities, and opportunities within the Port Harcourt education sector
    • Work closely with internal teams to ensure smooth onboarding and customer satisfaction after sales closure

    Minimum Requirements

    • Minimum of 2 years proven experience in B2B sales
    • Prior experience working in a corporate, edutech, technology, or other structured organization
    • Currently residing in Port Harcourt with a strong understanding of the local market
    • Demonstrated ability to prospect, make cold calls, and convert leads into paying clients
    • Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills
    • Comfortable meeting and exceeding performance targets in a structured sales environment
    • Available for immediate resumption or within a maximum of 2–3 weeks
