    Technical Sales Executive

    Role Description

    • The Technical Sales Executive is a full-time, on-site role based in Nigeria. This role involves identifying and engaging prospective clients, presenting technical solutions, and managing the sales cycle from lead generation to closing deals.
    • The Technical Sales Executive will prepare proposals and quotations, conduct product demonstrations, and provide technical guidance to help clients select appropriate instrumentation and safety solutions.
    • The role includes maintaining strong relationships with existing customers, coordinating with engineering and support teams to ensure successful delivery, and monitoring market trends and competitor activities. The Technical Sales Executive will also prepare regular sales reports, meet agreed targets, and represent the company at industry events and client meetings.

    Qualifications

    • Strong technical aptitude with the ability to understand instrumentation, automation, and safety solutions, and explain them clearly to clients.
    • Proven experience in technical or industrial sales, ideally within sectors such as Manufacturing, Oil & Gas, Utilities, Logistics, or related industries.
    • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with the ability to build and maintain long-term customer relationships.
    • Solid organizational and time-management skills, including pipeline management, opportunity tracking, and accurate reporting.
    • Comfort with field work, client visits, and on-site meetings across Nigeria; willingness to travel as required.
    • Proficiency in basic office and CRM software to manage customer data, proposals, and sales documentation.
    • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Physical Sciences, Business, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
    • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and to adapt in a fast-paced, client-focused environment.
