Job Summary

• Our client is in search of a proactive Technical manager who ensures that dredgers and other marine fleet’s daily technical operations are efficient and safe.

Key Responsibilities includes

• Responsible for maintenance, repairs, planned maintenance, dry docking and modifications to the vessels’ hull, machineries.
• Manage all technical matters and ensure that safety is being given the highest priority.
• Plan, coordinate and execute inspections and dry dockings of the vessels.
• Co-operate and work across all onshore departments
• Ensure strict adherence to QHSE policies and procedures and comply with safe work methods as required.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to read and interpret designs.

To Qualify to Apply, the Ideal Candidates Should Have the Following

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or relevant M.Sc in marine Engineering is an added advantage
• Minimum of 10 years experience as a Marine Engineer
• Certification in COREN, Marine Engineering, relevant trainings and professional Qualification Required
• Candidates should posses good Knowledge of quality management systems such as ISO 9001 as well as relevant code rules and regulations
• Attention to details; very good communication and interpersonal skills.
