    Technical Field Sales Engineer (Mechanical Engineer)

    Key Responsibilities
    Technical Expertise:

    • Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of hydro engineering technologies, including hydraulic modeling, dam design, water resource management, and related solutions.

    Client Engagement:

    • Identify and establish relationships with potential clients in the hydro engineering sector, including government agencies, engineering firms, and private organizations.

    Solution Presentation:

    • Conduct technical presentations and demonstrations to showcase our hydro engineering solutions, highlighting their benefits and capabilities.

    Needs Assessment:

    • Work closely with clients to understand their specific engineering challenges and requirements, providing tailored solutions and recommendations.

    Proposal Development:

    • Prepare detailed and accurate proposals, including scope of work, cost estimates, and project timelines.

    Sales Strategy:

    • Develop and implement a strategic sales plan focused on expanding our presence in the hydro engineering market, including identifying target clients and key growth areas.

    Market Research:

    • Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitor offerings within the hydro engineering sector.

    Collaboration with Technical Teams:

    • Liaise with our technical teams to ensure that proposed solutions align with engineering best practices and meet client specifications.

    Contract Negotiation:

    • Negotiate terms and conditions of contracts, ensuring they are mutually beneficial and compliant with company policies.

    Sales Reporting:

    • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, including client interactions, proposals submitted, and contracts won.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or related field. Master's degree is a plus.
    • Candidate must have worked in a Water Corporation.
    • Good knowledge of Water pumps
    • 7 years of experience in technical sales within the hydro-engineering or water resources industry.
    • Strong technical knowledge of hydro engineering principles, practices, and technologies.
    • Proven track record of successful sales and business development in a technical field.
    • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
