Technical Engineer - Abuja at Tranter IT Infrastructure Services Limited

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for a vibrant, confident, and highly engaging Technical Engineer to support solution demonstrations, reseller enablement, and client relationship activities across Abuja and the Northern region. This role combines technical product knowledge, field support, presentations, and stakeholder engagement. The ideal candidate is lively, social, collaborative, and enjoys meeting people, learning continuously, and making a strong impact.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Conduct in-person product demos and solution presentations to clients, prospects, and resellers.
• Support the Northern Territory Lead (Muhammad) by co-presenting, learning, and eventually leading demos independently.
• Build rapport with clients, resellers, and partners to ensure strong business relationships.
• Plan field visits effectively using Google Maps or navigation/logistics tools.
• Organize, book, and confirm demo slots, meetings, and technical sessions.
• Attend industry events, exhibitions, workshops, and speak confidently about company solutions.
• Prepare PowerPoint presentations, reports, proposals, and bids, and submit physical documents where required.
• Assist resellers (especially new ones) to ensure correct product positioning and delivery.
• Conduct site visits and needs assessment for solution requirement gathering and documentation.
• Proactively reach out for clarification and guidance when needed—strong team collaboration is essential.

REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

• Strong communication skills — confident, articulate, and engaging.
• Social, approachable, and enjoys building relationships.
• Comfortable with public speaking, presentations, and answering technical questions.
• Good working knowledge of PowerPoint, Excel, and basic reporting.
• Some travel experience and willingness to move around frequently for work.
• Ability to assess client environment and translate findings into solution requirements.
• Resourceful with planning logistics and mapping visit routes.
• Technically curious — interested in learning automation and technology solutions.
