Technical Content Writer at Helium Health

The Technical Content Writer will be responsible for creating clear, engaging content across our product lines. Ideal candidates should have strong writing and research skills, public health knowledge, and experience with SEO and digital content strategy.

Responsibilities

• Translate complex technical information into clear and user-friendly documentation for various stakeholders.
• Prepare materials to support external communications with partners, government agencies, and public health stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain user manuals, product guides, FAQs, and help center content for Helium Health’s products.
• Optimize written content for SEO to improve online visibility and reach.
• Create internal documentation to support onboarding, product training, and cross-functional collaboration.
• Ensure all documentation adheres to Helium Health’s brand voice, writing standards, and formatting guidelines.
• Implement version control, style consistency, and continuous improvement processes for documentation.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in technical writing, preferably in SaaS, healthtech, Public Health environments.
• Experience writing for technical, policy, and general audiences in the health or development sector.
• Demonstrated ability to turn complex data into engaging stories and reports.
• Strong knowledge of public health issues, systems, and terminology in Africa and/or emerging markets.
• Familiarity with SEO content strategy and tools.
• Proven ability to explain technical concepts/data to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including business and editorial writing.
• Strong attention to detail, research skills, and a commitment to factual accuracy.
• First degree in English, Communications, Technical Writing, Public Health or a related field.
