    Team Lead, Security

    Summary

    • We seek a highly skilled and motivated Team lead Security Presales Engineer to join our dynamic team.
    • The ideal candidate will possess deep technical knowledge of cybersecurity/Network security solutions and be able to work closely with sales teams to drive the success of customer engagements.
    • As a Security Presales Engineer, you will be responsible for delivering technical expertise, pre-sales support, and solution demonstrations to prospective clients while ensuring that their security needs are met effectively.
    • Lead &collaborate with sales teams to understand customer requirements and recommend appropriate security solutions.
    • Lead & Conduct technical presentations, product demos, and workshops to highlight the value of security solutions to potential clients.
    • Act as a technical point of contact during the sales cycle, providing subject matter expertise in security technologies.
    • Work & Lead the sales team to create technical content for RFPs, RFQs, and proposals
    • Create solution architectures, proof of concepts (PoCs), and proof of value (PoV) based on the identified needs and ensure the proposed security solutions integrate seamlessly with existing customer infrastructure
    • Maintain in-depth knowledge of the organization’s security solutions and capabilities to provide technical leadership and guidance to customers
    • Work closely with the engineering and product management teams to understand new product features and enhancements
    • Drive customer satisfaction by working closely with the engineering team to understand new product features and enhancements
    • Achieve financial targets for the solution areas under your management.
    • Evaluate and optimize solution performance periodically in line with organizational goals.
    • Design and Configuration of routing and switching equipment
    • Design and Configuration of voice services (IP/Traditional; On-premises/Hosted)
    • Design and Configuration of Telepresence Solutions
    • Design and Configuration of Contact Center Solutions
    • Design and Configuration of Multimedia Solutions
    • Design and Configuration of Collaborative Solutions
    • Design and Configuration of Wireless Solutions
    • Design and Configuration of Enterprise Mobility Solutions
    • Design and Configuration of Network, Systems and Application Monitoring Solutions
    • Remote support of on-site engineers and end users/customer
    • Remote troubleshooting and fault finding when issues occur
    • Provide Level-1/2 support and troubleshooting to resolve issues
    • Liaising with project management teams, third-line engineers
    • Speaking with customers via email and phone for initial requirement capture
    • Configure and install various network devices and services (e.g., routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, VPN, QoS)
    • Perform network maintenance and system upgrades including service packs, patches, hot fixes and security configurations
    • Monitor performance and ensure system availability and reliability
    • Monitor system resource utilization, trending, and capacity planning
    • Establishing the networking environment by designing system configuration, directing system installation, defining, documenting and enforcing system standards
    • Design and implementation of new solutions and improving resilience of the current environment
    • Maximizing network performance by monitoring performance, troubleshooting network problems and outages, scheduling upgrades and collaborating with network architects on network optimization
    • Updating job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, maintaining personal networks and participating in professional organizations
    • Reporting network operational status by gathering and prioritizing information and managing projects
    • Deliver Proof of Concepts (POC)
    • Product presentations and demonstrations
    • Support with the technical qualification of sales opportunities
    • Collaborates with sales, service, engineering, and technical support resources to ensure proposed deals include technical solutions that accurately address customer needs, and are appropriately supported by key customer technical decision-makers.
    • Provide answers to (technical) questions in a Request for Information (RFI) or a Request for Proposal (RFP)
    • Support the Head of Department in preparing and implementing annual work and resource plans; support their applicability within the overall company strategy
    • Recognize and actively seek ways to exploit IT to address the complex business, organizational and technical issue
    • Provide Professional network security knowledge; participate in proposing anddeveloping network security solutions
    • Implement appropriate procedural and technical access control mechanisms; participate in security incident management, security assessments, and vulnerability testing and make recommendations for corrective actions
    • Take overall responsibility for ensuring the availability, performance and security of network services within agreed service levels; lead the development of procedures and standards for IT network security operations
    • Plan, monitor and control projects using the either PMBOK/PRINCE2 methodology.

    Requirements

    • University degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or other related courses or numerate disciplines.
    • MSc will be an added Advantage
    • Minimum of 5 years of experience.
    • CCNP (Cisco Certified Network Professional),
    • CCNP - Collaboration (Cisco Certified Network Professional - Security, ITIL, Sophos Certified Engineer
    • Good at problem solving
    • Good at organizing and multitasking and prioritize under pressure
    • Able to explain technical problems in a simple term
    • Work well with people and Willingness to travel
    • In depth knowledge of the four network types (LAN, WAN, MAN and GAN)
    • Analytical and problem- solving ability;
    • Teamlead skills and the ability to feel comfortable working with different teams, clients and groups of staff across an organization;
    • Organizational skills and the ability to prioritize your workload.
    • Proven hands-on network engineering experience
    • CCNP or higher
    • Indepth understanding of networking protocols (e.g., IPSEC, HSRP, BGP, OSPF, 802.11, QoS)
    • Solid understanding of the OSI or TCP/IP model
    • Hands-on experience with monitoring, network diagnostic and network analytics tools
