Job Overview:

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement Montessori teaching methods in the classroom to foster individual learning and development.
• Prepare, create, and maintain a well-organized and engaging classroom environment.
• Guide students in a range of subjects including mathematics, language, science, and practical life skills.
• Observe each child’s individual progress and adjust teaching strategies to meet their needs.
• Provide opportunities for children to engage in both structured and free-form activities.
• Encourage self-discipline, independence, and a love for learning among students.
• Maintain open communication with parents, providing feedback on their child’s development.
• Participate in staff meetings, parent conferences, and school events.
• Collaborate with colleagues to plan and implement an enriching and holistic curriculum.
• Ensure the safety, well-being, and inclusion of all students in the classroom.
• Keep accurate and up-to-date records of students’ development, achievements, and needs.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field.
• Montessori teaching certification from a recognized institution.
• Proven experience working in a Montessori setting.
• Strong understanding of child development and the Montessori philosophy.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and classroom management skills.
• Ability to create an inspiring and nurturing environment that supports children’s growth and curiosity.
• Patience, creativity, and a passion for working with young children.
