Talented SEO and Content Writer at Parabolar Studio

Job Description:

• We are seeking a talented SEO and Content Writer to join our team on a flexible, contract basis.
• The ideal candidate will have a passion for writing, a strong understanding of SEO principles, experience with Wordpress, proficiency in at least one keyword research tool, and familiarity with Canva.
• With the ability to work remotely, you'll have the freedom to manage your schedule while contributing to our content goals.

Responsibilities:

• Researching and writing compelling articles, blog posts, and other content on a variety of topics related to news and business.
• Optimizing content for search engines to improve organic visibility and drive traffic to our website.
• Conducting keyword research using tools such as SEMrush or Ahrefs to identify relevant topics and trends.
• Collaborating with editors and other team members to ensure content is accurate, informative, and aligned with our editorial    standards.
• Utilizing Canva to create visually appealing graphics and images to accompany written content (proficiency is a plus).
• Monitoring and analyzing the performance of content using SEO tools and analytics platforms.
• Staying up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in SEO and content marketing.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a content writer or similar role, with a portfolio of published articles demonstrating writing proficiency.
• Strong understanding of SEO principles and best practices.
• Experience working with Wordpress and proficiency in at least one keyword research tool.
• Familiarity with Canva for creating graphics and images (proficiency is a plus).
• Excellent research skills and the ability to distill complex information into clear, engaging content.
• Ability to meet deadlines and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Bachelor's degree in journalism, communications, English, marketing, or a related field (preferred).
