Tablet Coating Machine Operator at KCH Consumer Healthcare Limited

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain tablet coating machines, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.
• Monitor and control the tablet coating process, making necessary adjustments to meet quality standards.
• Inspect coated tablets for defects and implement corrective actions when necessary.
• Maintain accurate records of coating parameters and production data.
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Collaborate with the production team to meet production goals and deadlines.
• Troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues to minimize downtime.
• Cleaning coating area and ensuring of readiness of coating machine before and after working and emptying the area of any trace of the previous product.
• Performing daily maintenance such as lubrication and other, cleaning and sterilization of the coating liquid preparation equipment and machine parts and informing the supervisor in case of a malfunction.
• Receiving the raw materials needed to prepare the coating liquid and ensuring the weight, safety, data, and environmental conditions required to prepare the liquid.
• Preparing (mixing and homogenizing) the coating liquid according to the steps specified in the preparation record, while verifying the result of the sample taken from the liquid before starting work.
• Weighting the bulk (tablets) received in the coating room before starting coating and following up on sending samples during work according to the specified routine.
• Operation the coating machines according to SOP and determination parameters to coating tablets.
• Monitoring the consistency of the weight of the tablets before and after coating according to the specified range for each product and record the data in the coating records.
• Documenting the working environment conditions for each product, including temperature, humidity, and pressure, in the designated records.
• Adherence to the company's internal regulations and all administrative orders and circulars issued by Top management.
• Commitment to attending the relevant trainings organized by the company and applying the information derived from the trainings during the performance of the work.
• Report any accident resulting in injury or malfunction in the work to the department.
• Evaluation colleagues according to the standards approved within the company and adherence to neutrality and objectivity during the evaluation.
• Adherence to good manufacturing practices (GMP), personal hygiene instructions, and the conditions of entry, exit, and work specified for each area.
• Adherence to quality management, environment, health, and occupational safety systems while working within the department.
• knowledge the environmental aspects and risks resulting from the coating and adherence to the applied control method and use the (PPE) to perform the work.
• Sorting the waste and handling with chemical spills as per SOP prepared for that.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess a HND / NCE / OND / SSCE qualification.
• Relevant qualification as applicable to role applied for.
• Male or Female.
• Between 22- 30years old as at the time of application.
• Must be very detailed and self-driven
• In-depth knowledge of the MS-Office
• Have knowledge of GMP, quality, environment, health and occupational safety systems.
• Organization, arrangement and accuracy in work.
