Swimming Pool Attendant at Alpha Mead Facilities & Management Services (AMFacilities)

Role Summary

The Swimming pool attendants is responsible for maintaining a safe and clean pool area at the facility. They welcome guests, attend to their needs, and assist swimmers in danger.

Responsibilities

• Unlock the entrance to the pool, the pump room, and the restroom.
• Ensure that all equipments are functioning properly.
• Check and maintain the color, chemistry, and clarity of the pool water.
• Clean and maintain the pool deck and restrooms
• Develop and maintain a friendly relationship with members of the pool.
• Maintain pool cleanliness, safety, and guest relationships by hourly walks around the deck and pool.
• Maintain the park through a variety of janitorial duties before and after swimming hours in accordance to accepted standards.
• Applly interpersonal skills by teaching children and adults various levels of swimming lessons.
• Ensure that the guest personal property are properly secured.
• Ensure that the pool and surrounding environs are in hygienic condition.

Requirements

• NABTEB/WAEC Technical or any other relevant qualification.
• Good hands on practical experienced on operation and maintenance of swimming pool system, good communication and interpersonal skills
• Good documentation skills (i.e. report, hand-over or duty note),
• Strong knowledge of HSE (Toolbox-talk, JHA, Risk assessment)
• Excellent customer service orientation.
