JOB DESCRIPTION:

Primestix, a renowned construction company known for its excellence and innovation, is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Surveyor to join our dynamic team. In this crucial role, you will be responsible for measuring and mapping land features to support construction and engineering projects, ensuring accuracy and compliance with project specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct land and topographic surveys using specialized equipment and technology
• Prepare and interpret survey reports, maps, and legal descriptions of surveyed land.
• Establish precise reference points and markers for construction projects.
• Collaborate with engineers, architects, and project managers to provide accurate site measurements.
• Verify survey data, including measurements and calculations, to ensure accuracy.
• Use GIS and CAD software to analyze spatial data and create detailed reports.
• Ensure all survey activities comply with legal and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain records of survey data, field notes, and project documentation.
• Identify and resolve discrepancies between survey data and project plans.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor\'s degree or diploma in Surveying, Geomatics, or a related field.
• Minimum 2+ years of experience in land or construction surveying.
• Proficiency in surveying equipment (GPS, Total Station, Theodolite, etc.).
• Experience with GIS and CAD software (AutoCAD Civil 3D, ArcGIS, etc.).
• Strong analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in measurements.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication and reporting skills.
• Knowledge of land laws, zoning regulations, and construction codes is an advantage
